am sick and tired of foamy cleansers that take away all my oils! Simpler done, this is my go-to for my face care, prone to acne caused by stress. I like using a fresh scented soap without fearing any breakouts or dryness.

My charcoal soap started as a light facial cleanser called "Al Andalus" because I was inspired by the charcoal scrubs done at ancient Arab baths in my home, Seville. It remains our most popular product to take on facial acne caused by oily skin or clogged pores. But wanting to balance out the face oils, I ended up making it gentler, by enriching it with beef tallow and beetroot for reducing red skin and inflammation.

So, it nourishes even as it detoxifies, unclogs pores and takes on oily skin. Athletes and laborers get surprised by its gentle exfoliation that helps to take off the day’s work grit and grime while being soft enough for gentle skin. 

This is by definition my most favourite Morning Cleanser. Its smell of citrus brought by the combination of Bergamot pairs really well with the freshness of Tea Tree.

Activate Charcoal has a long history as an ingredient used to drawn toxins out of the skin. But also a wrongly consideration that it might break up your skin.

That is UNTRUE in this special case. In general, Charcoal will absorb the water content surrounding it. And thanks to the added Tallow as the first ingredient, it will balance out that effect.

Activated Charcoal with Tallow and Avocado Oil create the perfect combination to cleanse your skin of unwanted toxins at the same time it balances out your oils without stripping your face out  completely.

Do I recommend it to People with Oily Skin? Yes, in case of Body. It goes well with active and sportive people (cleans better those toxins brought up by the sweat).

Do I recommend this product for Facial Cleanse before a moisturizer? Absolutely Yes. I do recommend to clean the face to clear the pores out of pollution sitting on our always uncovered face. Choose Morning or Night Time for a lovely fresh experience.

Do I recommend this product for Gardener Hands? Oh yeah, as it will draw out the dirt much easier. In this case I also recommend a highly moisturizing Tallow Balm to give back what the soil took away.

Would I recommend this product to people with mature and really sensitive skin? I would NOT be my first option. This is, at the end of the day, a product more adequate for people with Acne and a skin prone to oily. Otherwise, the person would need an intense moisturizer to follow!
