Our balms and soaps are made using slow, time-honoured processes without artificial preservatives or unnecessary additives. Simple ingredients, crafted the traditional way for pure and effective skincare.

IRISH GRASS-FED TALLOW

Tallow is enriched with Vitamins A,D, E, K as well as tied to Irish land and small farmers from whom we source the ingredients. It's the oldest known ingredient for human skincare because humans have always connected that what we eat is good for our skin. The fats within tallow are skin-compatible, so the skin absorbs every infused oil and vitamin much more effectively than it would from a plant.

SOURCED FROM IRISH FARMS

We partner with trusted Irish farms like Keadeen Mountain Farms, Tory Hill Farm, and Glasraí Farm to source high-quality ingredients rooted in local tradition. Every batch of tallow is carefully hand-rendered in-house to preserve authenticity, nourishment, and quality.

ABOUT MARIA'S SHOP

My name is Maria, creator of NAMAWE. I created my skincare company as a way to reconnect with Irish Abundance and the Old Wise Women wisdom.

I came to Ireland back in 2016, for many reasons, many of them I didn't even know. But within a year in, not only I was able to understand and communicate better in a foreign language, but also to listen to my inner longing.

Nature walks put me into perspective within my deep self. I bloomed many paths out of curiosity and deep attention to the seasons and the gifts of each one.

Thanks to the guidance of many local herbalists, I learnt to identify plants by name and use. So that I could feel eager to introduce them into my life. Artist and crafter by degree and Nature, I find joy in learning how to make things from scratch as a way to learn deeper about the purpose of the item or the ingredient I am using.
