If you have curly and Regular or prone to Oily hair, you have come to the right corner of my page. Solid 2in1 shampoo is the easier and gentle way to care for your scalp.
This bar is the result of my deeper connection to Horsetail. I needed a different shampoo for my scalp and I asked which plant wanted to be given another go.
It was my first time using my Herbal Tarot to speak with the plants I currently use and adore. And as Horsetail was the strong connection from Spain (where I used it) and Ireland (where I discovered her in her raw form), it had to be my main way to discover my needs and hers.
So I crafted from zero which ingredients she would be more effective for me: I have a very fine hair that tends to be curly in its best days. As I used many solid and rich shampoos in the past, I found that my scalp started to build up fats. It needed less and less over time: not only I washed my hair less than once a week but I needed non greasy oils to clean and define my curls without extra work.
I do not have a big hair routine, so I wanted something effective, clean, neutral and gentle at the same time. My hair was done with the previous Horsetail Shampoo and Nettle did not give life to her curls. That is how I changed the Beeswax for Jojoba Oil and added non greasy oils like Argan. Grass-fed Tallow and Goat's Milk would do the rest by caring for the pH of my scalp, making it stable.
Lavender Essential Oil is the trick to balance the oils in the scalp while giving me a gentle relaxing atmosphere. I need all the zen time I can master, and this blend does the trick for me!
After I have massaged my scalp with the lovely bar, I allow the rinse to cover the rest of my hair. Remember, our scalp is the one that needs the treatment and cleansing, the rest of the hair is generally ok. If your hair is too greasy over-all, you can try from scalp to half way. Just remember that over-washing this area leads to a more drying result on the hair.
As this bar is a 2 in 1, there is no need for a conditioner. If your hair is super oily, I do not see any need at all for it! But if you are interested, there is a step that I always finish with: a last cold rinse with my special mix of 1 part of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar and 7 parts of prefiltered Water. Why? It is an old solution that stops possible Chlorine in your water to stay on your scalp. And I add some herbal remedy to keep my hair shining and looking lush for the week ahead! I think of this as my Home-made Conditioner.
And if I need an extra, as I shall see it when my hair is completely dry, I would add a bit of my Hair Oil to the ends.
Enjoy the treat!

These products are amazing. It is my first time using tallow-based products, and the results are fantastic. My skin feels so soft, the fragrances are long lasting, and off most interest to me, is that my long-term skin irritation (dermatitis) has dramatically cleared up since I started using the products. Really happy and highly recommend.
I've been searching for a long time to find a bar shampoo that works for my hair. This one is the best I've tried to date! It lathers up easily and doesn't dry out my hair. I feel like I have ultra-ultra sensitive skin, and this bar is gentle on my skin and leaves behind a healthy and happy scalp and hair.
I'm sorry to say I'm a little disappointed with this shampoo. I use one the soaps instead ( not a shampoo) but it's absolutely beautiful! I will use the shampoo again and see how I get on. I found it a little heavy compared to the soap, which is beautiful. I think your products are amazing!
Thank you for your feedback, Margaret! I am so glad that you think the products are amazing. Often when people begin to use a solid shampoo there is a detox phase in which your scalp is producing more oil and detoxing from the silicones covering the hair and scalp. The quality of your tap water is also a factor, which is why I recommend using an apple cider vinegar rinse with filtered water.
You can read more here about using a solid shampoo on my blog here: https://namawe.com/blogs/news/tips-when-swapping-to-a-natural-solid-shampoo
Still, everyone's hair and skin are different. I have a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all my products, so reach out to me if you would like to go further. Thank you for your feedback and support for natural skincare.
